Match the candle to the table
Measure the space that remains after place settings, glasses and menus are arranged. A 50 or 65 mm pillar offers a different footprint from a wider pillar or a lantern. A taper may use less space at its base, but the holder and full assembly still need to be considered.
Review the display from a seated position. Leave a comfortable view across the table and enough room for service. A sample in the actual setting is more useful than a product photo viewed alone.
Plan for daily operation
List the tables, reception areas and other positions that will use candles. Decide whether each candle stays in place or is collected after service. The answer affects storage, handling and battery checks.
Record the expected operating hours. Ask for runtime information against the selected model and battery specification, and confirm any timer or remote function required by the team. No one feature should be assumed across the whole catalogue.
Review handling and exterior placement
Request cleaning and handling instructions for the chosen surface. A textured candle, cup-style product and plated lantern may need different care.
For a patio or entrance, describe the likely exposure. Ask for outdoor suitability and any protection rating for the exact reference. An indoor candle should not be selected for an exposed position only because it looks suitable.
Keep a clear reorder record
After sample approval, retain the reference, size, finish, battery requirement and packing information. Include a photograph of the approved arrangement and holder.
For a repeat order, share that record with the enquiry. It helps distinguish a matching replacement from a similar-looking model with a different specification.

Compare the relevant models and keep their references with your buying brief.
